01Using the service
iVault Mail provides free email accounts at ivaultmail.com. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.
You may use your mailbox for personal and business correspondence. You may not use it to:
- send spam, mass mailings or unsolicited advertising;
- send phishing, malware or fraudulent messages;
- break the law or violate the rights of others;
- attempt to break into other accounts or overload the service.
Accounts that break these rules may be limited or blocked without notice.
02Accounts
Each free account gets 1 GB of storage and sending limits of up to 40 letters per hour and 150 per day. Some names are reserved and cannot be registered.
You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything sent from your account. We don't reset passwords automatically: if you lose access, send a request on the “Can't sign in” page.
03Privacy
We store your letters only to deliver them to you and keep them in your mailbox. We don't read them, sell them or use them for advertising, and we don't build profiles of our users.
To create a mailbox we don't ask for your name, phone number or another email address. Mail is transferred over encrypted connections (TLS) wherever the other side supports it.
04How we use data
Technical data such as IP addresses, login times and delivery logs is kept on the server for a limited time to deliver mail, fight spam and protect accounts from password guessing.
Incoming letters are checked automatically by the spam filter. If you mark a letter as spam, the filter uses this to learn. No person reads your mail in the process.
We don't share data with third parties, except where we are required to by law.
06No warranty
The service is provided “as is”. We work to keep it running and back up the server every night, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or that data will never be lost. Keep copies of important letters.
07Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the current version. If you keep using the service after an update, you accept the new terms.
